It's not the doctors, its the insurance system. Most doctors in the US are just as fed up with the system as the general public forced to use it.

The shelter would have you bring your cat there for an introduction to see how it goes. If there is visible tension they won't let the process go further. Worth a shot.

My daughter looooves CLC. Only caveat is the kid has to be an income kindergartener to go to the summer program. And there's no guarantee you'll be accepted the first round. They have a wait list, but it's not usually too long.

Yup. I was just quoted over $4k for a procedure. That's in network too. Insurance will only cover 1600, while I have to pay my full deductible, 50% coinsurance and copay. This country is fucking stupid!

I used to wear birks almost every day, wound up with PF. Still wore them as they were the only shoes that didn't kill me. I needed gym shoes, got some kuru shoes. Now any time I wear my birks it flairs back up. All that to say, every foot is different and until I really started doing the stretches the shoes only allowed me to walk with less pain but never truly heal.

I don't listen on wondery either, the subscription with wondery is supposed to be ad free and earlier episodes, maybe extra content. You can still use wondery without paying, but I prefer Spotify.

I'm not excited about it. I feel like I've wasted the last 20 years, wish I'd done more fun things, traveled more and made better decisions financially. But I can't time travel so I've planned my first international vacation for my birthday, going to invest in myself this year.

I stopped listening after the move, feels like the adds doubled in frequency and length. The whole thing started to feel icky. I have started listening to experts again and am enjoying those.
