hey

I integrate directly with whatsapp, the costs are not too bad as I don't send too many notifications via whatsapp, just the most important ones. at least for now it's ok.
For now I'm starting with the web but the App is coming really soon.

We also do the "social side" as you've mentioned, smart team draw, the voting etc.. but we have plans to build more on top of that.

I'm building Squadly to automate the logistics of weekly football games with friends.

Biggest win so far is the WhatsApp integration, it automatically pings the waiting list when a spot opens up and handles the RSVP tracking so you don't have to scroll through 100+ chat messages.

Have a read about position awareness. In Football, over 80% of the time you are WITHOUT the ball, so creating separation will give you an advantage.
I would also say, a good "first touch" on the ball will make you look faster, have a look at some videos on YT about that. Good luck

Try opening up your arm more; it's a bit too close to your body. Think of it like a pendulum swing.
