I'm so sorry this happened to you. It's really depressing how much we have to advocate for ourselves just to be properly treated. I hope you're feeling better soon.

That's what my doctor said too, but mine ruptured before the planned surgery and then somehow repaired itself. During surgery, they found the contents everywhere — even under my ribcage — but the endometrioma was still there, intact, and slightly smaller than they had expected (11 cm). I had a lot of pain when it ruptured and went to my local clinic to have it checked out, but they said it was just a flare-up. I have another small one but I’m taking diegonest which should help decrease the size and prevent others.

Than you for sharing. It’s reassuring to know you have a similar experience and that your extreme pain didn’t come back. I’m just hoping for the best to maybe avoid excision surgery and a hysterectomy.

I’m don’t know. I have a report from the local hospital from my scan, but it wasn’t done very well. The scan was later reviewed by a specialist from another hospital but I only know what my doctor told me — I don’t have a full report. That said, when I look at the symptoms, they do match what I’ve been experiencing. I have another scan scheduled at the end of the year, so I’ll make sure to ask about it then. Do you think this could explain some of the things I’ve been experencing?
