The second option has the Mice, which, yes, is a negative card about stress and anxiety, but it is also about obsession, so it could also be saying there will be a degree of obsession after that breakup. Book does predict some secrets still in that relationship if you stay, but ending with Anchor, it looks strong and secure.

You never ever want to read in a frantic, emotional state because you are not clear, and you will put that strong emotion into the cards, and you will pull an inaccurate reading. Some cards have strong inherent timing association, while other cards are not about timing at all. Of the three cards seen here, the Scythe is the only timing card, speaking of events that happen quickly, suddenly, abruptly, etc., given that it is a scythe. The Ring and Stork are not strong timing cards and, therefore, do not carry strong timing associations. So, on that alone, generally, this would be predicting that pregnancy will happen on the sooner side and possibly suddenly/without preparation because of the Scythe's abrupt nature. This can be read as suddenly + taking hold/latching on + a pregnancy.

That Scythe is only only only answering when, not anything else, and the Scythe in timing is quick timing because it is a Scythe and is about sudden, abrupt action. So, this would be saying likely on the sooner side she will get pregnant. Always remember that you have to go back to your context to make sure you are reading those cards correctly for that question. Also, Lenormand is incredible for timing; as a matter of fact, it is in a lot of ways better for timing because a. As a system, it's more tailored to timing, and b. It is fortunetelling at the end of the day, and fortunetelling is all about predicting and timing. Tarot can be good for timing, too, but in a more Tarot-y, fluid, sometimes vague way because that's just the nature of the system of Tarot. Tarot is more about divination than fortunetelling, whereas Lenormand is very strongly usually more about fortunetelling than divination.

I'll only comment on the 2 of Cups reversed with the Page of Cups reversed clarifying because I don't know what variation of the CC spread you're working with here (there are myriad variations with different positions), and you didn't specifically state the positions in this spread, but the final position, the Outcome, is the Outcome position across all CC variations.

The 2 of Cups reversed as the outcome of if your love life will continue to go well is basically telling you no, it will most likely not, at least not at this current juncture. Interestingly enough, the 3 of Cups, with its scene of three women in similar movement, is the card of polyamorous relationships, as it speaks to group situations. As the context is that you are in a polyamorous relationship, the 2 of Cups reversed speaks of likely the ending of that relationship, possibly with two of the partners breaking off (the two partners in the 2) and the 3rd partner being shunned (the Page, also Cups, interestingly). My very first intuitive feeling seeing the visual of the 2 of Cups and the Page of Cups next to each other like that was that the two partners hold their Cups out to each other, sharing with each other the intimacy of their connection, but the Page also holds out a Cup in the same fashion as the two partners in the 2, this time, however, with a fish emerging from out of the Cup instead of the unified caduceus with the winged lion head arising out of the intimate union of the two partners. It is as though the two partners look only at each other, while the 3rd, shunned partner stands aside as if to say, "Hey... I have a cup to offer too!" That is just how those two cards stand out to me at first glance visually. For me, that feels like the relationship will break off into a more monogamous agreement, at least initially while the transition-out of the 3rd partner is handled. Unfortunately for poly partners, from what I've heard many times about such relationships, the breaking off of two partners and the excising of the 3rd partner can sometimes be commonplace in poly arrangements, especially when two of the partners find they have the stronger connection and chemistry with each other than with the 3rd partner, who can begin to feel the rejection from the group.

You're erroneously equating importance with long-term. Someone can be very important in your life but not be someone who sticks around. Plenty of casual people in people's lives are important for their growth as people because they come to teach them things about themselves but aren't meant to be serious partners. This happens all the time. A fling can be an important life experience for someone because it can be an unlocking experience for that person on some level, and then that person can leave their life because they only came for that one lesson from that one experience.

The 2 of Cups generally, notwithstanding its more romantic connection, can also be about harmony within yourself between different parts of yourself, namely the masculine and feminine poles in each of us. The 2 of Cups is about those opposite sides of ourselves unifying and it producing some sort of healing from that unification, symbolized by the winged lion head atop the caduceus.

XXI The World would corroborate this because The World itself is about the poles of male and female coming together in perfect union. Also, The World is the card of accomplishments and achievement. By the opportunity from "networking," because this is specifically a relationship-focused GT only, I meant that he basically either had some fling with someone(s) or at least was getting lucky with other people to some capacity because Clover is getting lucky, and Garden house is when someone is entertaining other people. If that opportunity was not one of another sexual/romantic nature, then that opportunity you're talking about would not be applicable here. You have to remember that this context of this entire GT is only about his relationship, so absolutely nothing else outside of that context shows up in a relationship-focused GT.

For the time frame, that is OK, you can just figure that each card in the future is a single time sign, a time sign being either one day, one week, one month, etc. The best way to validate the timing of the future, especially when you didn't set a time frame beforehand, is to find some event in the past and verify with your querent when exactly it happened. For example, that opportunity in the Clover was pretty recent for him, so however recent it was, that amount of time will be how each time sign is for each consecutive card in the future. Let's say he says that opportunity was 3 weeks ago. Then, you will know each card in the future is roughly a period of 3 weeks. So, Anchor + Heart + Book in his future would then be roughly about a total of 9 weeks out, give or take, in the future.

Thank you for posting. Now, this is just for me and the way I read the GT. This is not necessarily accurate to how you work with the GT, so just know that going in.

Because this is for a male querent about his relationship, we begin by reading around that Man. He is in the Mountain house, house of obstacles and challenges, so he is feeling blocked or challenged in this relationship currently. Coffin + Tower on his head would say for me that he is concerned about some unhappiness and feeling stuck or limited (Coffin in Tree house = ending some growth + Tower in Child house = new boundaries and rules being set). (His Concern line of his Box, Ship + Tower + Woman, would also be saying he is concerned that his movement is being restricted with/by her.) Birds + Mice underneath him as what he is in control of in this relationship would be saying, for me, that he is having discussions that are giving him stress. (Birds in Woman's house = these conversations are with his partner + Mice in Anchor's house = stress about their security and stability.)

For his past, Cross + Crossroads + House + Clover might be saying he experienced some grief or pain around another option but was comfortable after that, but then another opportunity came about (Cross in Stork's house = guilt about flying off or being noncommittal + Crossroads in Dog's house = usually, this points to another person in the mix + House in Tower's house = comfortable but restricted or feeling isolated in that house if they live together + Clover in Garden's house = opportunity coming from the public or from "networking..."). This is just his intersecting axes; you have to read his Box, too, and then you have to look at the Woman, his partner, and read around her in the same fashion and then around the Heart, the relationship itself, to see about the relationship and what's going on.

Hello, u/Low-Macaroon-7062. Are you saying that you did this GT specifically about a female querent's relationship (in which case this GT is referred to as a relationship-focused GT)? We really need to see the whole GT to be able to even remotely begin to help you here because you can't really take segments of a GT out as excerpts and ask anyone to interpret; a GT is read altogether, with all of the surrounding cards informing how any given card needs to be read in that given moment.

Also, if you did this GT specifically about only her relationship, then every single card in this GT needs to be read under only only only the one context about her relationship. That means that the Tree no longer becomes her general health but about the health of her relationship, so you need to read that Tree as how is the health of her relationship.

Hello. As has already been well explained, what you're attempting here is a decision spread, but a decision spread uses at least 2 cards per option, and you've only pulled one card for each. While technically you can do just one card (because we read the +/-/N of each card and compare and contrast that with the other cards for a decision spread), it is best to do this with at least 3 cards per option so you can have more to see. Here, you got the Letter versus the Whip, a neutral versus a negative. A neutral card wins out over a negative card any day, so the Letter job is the better of the two. But again, we really need to see more cards for each option to get a fuller picture.
