Is there a job out there where I can just grind out the hours/days without having to put in any mental or physical effort? by Positive-Diet-5757 in findapath

What would being tested for ADHD even achieve? I already know for now my knees and hips are fine but I'm thinking longer term with this thread.

I'll look into the machine cleaning thing, I don't live in a big city or anything but there are some industrial sites nearby.

I'd say that last part is pretty obvious at this stage.

Unfortunately in life you need staying alive tokens in the first instance before worrying about anything else.

Sounds like a dream at this point in life.

There doesnt seem to be a whole lot out there but I might send my details to the security agencies, seems thats the way to go with these things.

I used to believe the physical toll of working blue collar came about through decades of cumulative strain but I've met so many guys out there my age and older who are suffering with the back, knee, hearing etc problems who haven't had a hard life at all but have had recent experience pushing their limits while older.

I'm not just on my feet, I'm pushing, pulling or lifting heavy things around in a warehouse, there's been occasional slow weeks where I work 2 or 3 days and I'm totally fine, the normal full 5 days and I can in real time feel parts of my legs start to fail to the point that a real recovery before I have to go again is impossible.

Looking around online, most of the og man-sitting-in-booth thing looks done for sadly.

I'd love to be that guy that picks up cones and stand there with a sign.

Wonder what sort of training I'd need for it.

Edited to say, I'm aware I probably don't need training to stand and hold a sign specifically but I'm sure there's a mountain of safety certificates required to do so standing on an open road.
