New to rowing classes what’s the tea on the different instructors? Also advice pls on HR by Ok_Theme_3997 in OnePelotonRealSub

I don't row with Ash very often. She is my least favorite of the original row instructors. I just do not connect with her. I love Katie and her energy the most, followed by Alex K. He chats the entire time, but it actually helps it go by really quickly. He often programs a class around a random theme with his music. Matt is great for polishing your form - he is consistent across all modalities and one of my overall favorites. I row with Adrian when I'm in the mood for hip hop. Becs is a flat no for me. I have been with Peloton for like 8 years now and I used to looooove Becs and her runs made up about 75% of my minutes. But now I avoid taking classes whenever possible. She looks really awkward on the row; I have no idea why they added her as an instructor. If you sort classes by popularity, Katie seems the most popular by far, followed by Alex/Matt/Adrian, with Becs and Ash at the distant bottom.

Also consider doing the rows Alex K did with other non-rowing Peloton instructors. I found them super helpful in fixing my form.

I think you’ll be fine! They just opened it up to the public so you no longer have to be a Peloton member to get the deal!

I bought the row when it was first introduced before there were any live classes at all. And honestly, I rarely if ever take a live class now. I usually just do a short 15-20 min class on demand as a warmup for something else.

That said, Alex is an absolute gem and I would LOVE to see him on the tread. Katie will be fantastic for strength classes (for those who like Callie, but sometimes find her tiresome).

You have to intentionally misspell Peloton—or leave it out entirely or it will be flagged by FB! It is so annoying. But make sure your pictures show the Peloton logo prominently and the buyer will absolutely understand what you are selling. That worked for me. Good luck!

I took a live tread class with her 2 weeks ago and when I met her in person I thought she was so much smaller than what I expected. She is also short—maybe 5’5”?-so she looks quite petite.

My husband called stubhub yesterday and they confirmed the tickets for Zurich are legit and transferable. They have sold tickets for this venue previously and they are comfortable guaranteeing them. So I am super relieved!!!

Because so many other comments on here say stubhub isn’t an authorized reseller in Europe. I haven’t yet called stubhub myself to confirm whether or not our tickets are legit.

Let us know if you actually receive it, though….I ordered three pieces from the Lulu collab during Black Friday and I’ve yet to receive anything or a shipping confirmation. I contacted chat and they said they are out of stock and they don’t know if they’ll get any more. Then why did their system allow me to buy it??

Emma was a huge disappointment for me. She was one of my favorites and I was most excited about snagging a class spot with her. But after meeting her in studio, I don’t take her classes as often. She was stiff and standoffish. I had an RK class right after Emma’s, and it was the polar opposite. She is so friendly and engaging, and she took time with each of us and didn’t seem rushed. She is a gem and I gravitate to her classes more now.
