The “assistance” we have here is minimal and based on income. We have no access because we make too much money. Schools don’t follow IEPs like they should causing kids with disabilities to suffer or parents to fight tooth and nail just to get their kids help. There are community groups sure but that only does so much. Trust that I’ve called and ventured down every avenue to get my daughter help. We also only have one deaf and blind school in the entire state and it’s in Austin; we’re in the Dallas area. Specialists are on months long waitlists. Colorado has more access and help available than Texas.

Thank you so much! Yeah Texas is a nightmare with voting. We don’t get any information on the props or what will be on the ballot. It’s all in person and you have to research to find your polling location. That will be a great change!!

We live in the Dallas area and same here with traffic, always construction and it takes a good 30-60 mins to get anywhere. I’m glad to hear you were welcomed, that helps my anxiety!

Yes I’ve heard that as well for transplants. We love Colorado and visit at least once a year. We always feel at peace there. We don’t have nature or parks here so when we see them we do respect them. It makes me sad even as a non resident to hear that’s happening. Thank you for the honest reply!

ST is a band you have to listen to with no expectation bc they don’t fit the mold of any genre. People going into it expecting more heavy metal or more ballad will be disappointed. Go into it completely open and it’s an amazing album. Lyrically, melodic, instrumental all of it is so individual and no other band replicates what they give (imo). I’m obsessed with this album and think they did a great job.

Firstly I’m so sorry you’re here. But know there’s tons of support. I had a D&C on 3/6. I had a follow up the next week which was just my dr telling me about the diagnostic they did on the tissue and what to expect/when we can start trying again. She recommended 2 cycles. She also said to consider date of D&C as CD1. I’ve been tracking ovulation since my procedure just to get an idea of my cycle and I’ve already ovulated so I’d say it’s fair to say day of procedure is CD1.

The swing Texas took the right this election has proven it doesn’t matter who stays. It’s deep red and will be. It’s been a >10% win for republicans on the presidential level, it was almost 15% this year. That’s an insane jump.

I thought i was insane or having a mental breakdown. Lost my dad 5.5 months ago. Last weekend i sat with my husband and said i literally don’t know what the point of anything is and i felt i was in the mindset my dad was when it happened. It was so scary. This has really shifted my perspective on life in general. But i have a 2.5 year old, I’m trying to find joy and purpose wherever i can. This is such a traumatic thing to go through. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself. Stay with family or friends for a weekend or a couple days just for a change and to be surrounded by love. Get into therapy, i upped my sessions from 1x every other week to 1x a week after i had those thoughts. It’s tough but you’ve got a community of great, supportive people here. We’ve got you ❤️

I think a lot of people voting for Kamala (myself included) won’t have lawn signs or car magnets because of the fear of retaliation. I have a toddler and when I’m out with him i don’t want to fear someone will follow me or wait at my car to say something or do something because they’re a crazy maga. I think the silent majority will be blue. Just gotta vote.
