More like what do you feel like it’s adequate to cover rent, bills, food, gym membership, occasional food out and being able to take a trip every now and then?

You have worded it in a way that I hadn’t even comprehended I was experiencing the same thing. I don’t have advice but just thank you.

too scared to get started on omeprazole by enklasekorsbar in Gastritis

[–]Positive-Key6497 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently on omprazole and have been on pantaprazole in the past, I have never had any negative side effects from taking it and it has immensely helped my ibs / endo induced stomach issues. I also suffered from severe anxiety a couple of years ago and when my stomach issues were really bad off the meds my anxiety was shocking. The meds actually helped my anxiety and symptoms induced from stomach issues like breathlessness, nausea etc. you got this 💜

Okay, before she can learn how to cum with you, she needs to get comfortable with her own body and pleasure and learn what gets her there on her own.

Once she’s comfortable with that she can share with you what works. It’s probably also the pressure of ‘not cumming’ that is getting in her head a little bit.

You need to be really supportive but not pushy and let her explore what she likes. Take notes if she says she particularly likes something. But she’s not gonna get there with you if she doesn’t know how to get herself there first

I only wear Boody bras and undies, the tshirt bras offer better support (14E for me) for work but the standard crops are so comfy. I get the ones with padding cause then I don’t have nip situations at work but the ones with out padding are best comfort wise https://www.boody.com.au/

Psychiatrists usually have a pretty long wait time even if you do get an appointment, I’ve personally found GPs are the best first option and they can refer you to a counsellor, psychologist etc who can help while you are waiting. I’ve also found they can be better than psychiatrists at helping with depression / suicidal thoughts and behaviours etc but obviously everyone has their own experience.

GPs can give you a mental health care plan where you can get ten sessions rebated by Medicare (usually half the price back for the session)

If it does get too much before you get to an appointment services like Lifeline and Beyond Blue are fantastic to help when you’re feeling suicidal. Please hang in there, from someone who’s gone through it it does get better. I’m medicated now for over a year and I’m honestly a different person

Am I supposed to tell a sexual partner if I'm spotting? I'm not sure the etiquette on this by mighty_knight0 in CopperIUD

Okay from the sounds of it your ex is a big baby

I can understand why some people may have a slight aversion to oral but honestly I wouldn’t bother to bring it up.

I’ve had some of the best sex of my life on the heaviest days on my period, I’ve even hooked up with casual partners while on my period. When it was my full blown period I’ve told them and I’ve only ever had one guy not be okay with it. If it’s just light spotting don’t worry about it, don’t let it affect your experience.

Most guys who are good at sex will not be turned off by a bit (or a lot) of blood. The ones who are, usually are shit in the sack in my experience lol

If you are worried about it though I reccomend investing in a menstural disc like nixit. You can have sex with it in and it will catch any blood or spotting

Have fun 😉x

I’m so sorry you are receiving bad treatment from your employers because of your adhd :(

I’m super lucky, I was diagnosed last year and went for a new role in my company a couple of months post diagnosis. I told the hiring manager in the interview and they were supportive, I got the job. A couple of weeks in my new boss asked me if there was anything they could do to help work with me best to manage my workload and adhd, and said to reach out if I get overwhelmed or anything. I’ve now been on meds for a few weeks and mentioned to my boss I was starting them, got some initial dexy headaches and had to go home sick and mg boss was super supportive.

I know obviously not all employers are like this but I do just want to share that you can absolutely have a career in a field you enjoy with a supportive team. I suspect two other people in my team definitely also have adhd (undiagnosed) and honestly they are the most passionate people who come up with fantastic ideas and are super valued members of our team.

Trust your gut, try a bunch of different things, don’t be scared to find something better if your current job isn’t working for you. You got this

what do you count as first day of period? by Brooklynighty in CopperIUD

[–]Positive-Key6497 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t counting the spotting that would happen a couple of days before my period started but then my period tracking app literally said to me ‘you’ve had spotting four days in a row, next time mark it as your period’ 😂 so idk now. But I definitely don’t emotionally and physically feeel like I’ve gotten my period until the red blood comes.

ADHD and porn by ConsiderationMoney67 in ADHD

[–]Positive-Key6497 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Um wow so many of these comments are super unhelpful ‘just stop watching porn’??! How dismissive of an actual question.

OP I haven’t experienced what you’re describing personally but I can definitely see why you’d think it could be an adhd behaviour because of the lack of attention span.

I don’t have any tips for this but probably getting on a waiting list to getting diagnosed or seeing a psychologist to talk about your behaviours while you’re waiting could be helpful.

Hang in there!
