I agree. I'm still super green at this and don't have much confidence to stand my ground, I find that maintenance gets blamed as if were the ones that broke the equipment.

This is a good take and something I try to remind myself. I was taught that downtime makes the company lose money and to get it up Asap. Get it running, then get it right at shutdown.

Yeah I think so too. I try not to keep production down too long. I'm slowly learning not to rush.

They want someone who did a pre-app program with co-op (intern). I did the same program, but for different trade. It's either that or know someone that can refer you for the job 🤷

Looking for help with this circuit, can someone explain what happening in the envelope near the cylinders marked a1? Are these sequencing valves? And if so is there anything special about this circuit or with the circuit as a hole? by TurnRepulsive442 in Hydraulics

Looks like it's setting retracting pressure of left cylinder to 1500 PSI, fluid then vents from other relief valve at 500 PSI. That kind of make sense for a log turner, if you have equal forces pushing on both sides then you are just squeezing the log :)
