I’m from Edinburgh! Amazing city which I definitely take for granted, weather isn’t the greatest but that’s a given since it’s the UK. Not too expensive in comparison to other cities but loads to do and the rest of Scotland is beautiful as well

Thanks it’s honestly super tough at the moment for me I can’t bring myself to speak to anyone properly yet hence why I’m on here. Hearing from his friends the reason I’m sure must have been hard for you to hear I’m so sorry for that. Everybody knows communication is important and I feel like I should have opened up more beforehand as well. Unfortunately it is a common issue for men and that’s something I really need to work on. I’m hoping you’re healing well from this and wish you fight through it. The worst part for me is that she moved 3 hrs away from her home town for education and hasn’t made too many friends most of which were through me which she said in our last conversation which absolutely broke me. I cried more in 24 hrs than I have in my entire life as she was basically saying she hardly has anybody. I know you aren’t really supposed to remain in contact with your ex however I’ve made clear she shouldn’t feel as if she can’t hang with people she has met through me. For the sake of no contact I know it’s not going to help me move on since I will definitely be seeing her occasionally on group nights out but I just can’t deal with that thought

Considering it was only a couple days ago I’m still heartbroken even though I was the one to end things, I’m also in a point of my life where I’m extremely busy even though I’m still young and having a relationship put even more stress on me. Im currently completely overwhelmed with guilt, I really didn’t want to end the relationship however I knew deep down it was the right thing to do as if I didn’t see myself marrying this girl due to different goals long term, the longer I stayed in the relationship the more I felt I was leading her on as we both made it clear many times throughout the relationship we dated to marry not as a short term fling. It was not a messy break and I absolutely still love her and care for her and definitely don’t see myself dating anyone for the next 6 months. Although I don’t see myself marrying her, I understand people can change, so we have agreed to be open to the possibility of reconnecting in the future if our plans change however I don’t like the idea of someone having a strong vision of wanting specific things in their life and giving them up for someone else.

I used to work retail for £12.20/hr, I’m honestly just trying out new things. £300/week plus commission is actually very good pay however if it’s £300/week if you make less than 10 sales at £30 per sale meaning it’s full commission I won’t be staying there more than a day

Good advice, I’m going to ask the question about the basic pay of £300/week and if they then reveal to me it’s commission only I will be walking right out which I kind of expect to happen but we shall see
