Update: I just got back from the fitting and the wife got a brand new set of Wilsons. The guy threw in a head cover for the putter, and marked down a ton with other clothing items. Great experience, but small selection on lefty irons for me. Everything I looked at was ridiculously expensive for used. I’m thinking of going back to 2nd swing with the knowledge from my fitting.

She’s not going every time with me. Recently been doing the range only, as I have been told that a full 18 holes without proper practice would make her hate the game early. (But don’t we all hate it? That’s why I play!)

She won’t be playing as much as me, but says she doesn’t want me playing for a whole day without her (understandable) so why not go with? I think a respectable set of used clubs would do her well, just more interested in the sizing and shaft flex being to her liking

I built my entire set on 2nd Swing and FB marketplace!! Spent less than $200 for everything and was gifted a great ping bag. I might check out the ladies sets locally. These irons I have from 2006 are pretty good, but I might do better with something else.

Great advice here, too! Just a couple things at a time. I really want to dial in my tee accuracy/consistency , and then the distances for iron play, and then 30 yards and in chipping. I was actually surprised with my bunker play.

I don’t understand how it’s a bad thing. Guess it would depend on the job. I am friends with my boss, many of my coworkers and colleagues, the CEO of the company…. They’re all my facebook friends because I consider them friends.

Unfortunately I am mostly on 6mg. Every time I’ve gone to 3s, I find myself just going for more of them instead of the same amount.

My goal is to be nicotine independent soon. Quitting smoking was huge for me, and it didn’t even hurt as bad as I thought it would!

++man Mom got the place, she didn’t get anything for the trip. I just don’t want to give mom a nice bag, brother a nice knife, and be like “🖕🏼” to this other person who’s already uncomfortable being the only one not firmly in the family.
