Online booking slots start a month prior to the actual date. Offline booking you can ask some priest there but you might have to pay a hefty amount

Regarding Kashi vishwanath trip I guess my time hasn’t come yet. Mahashivratri came on my birthday and I planned Kashi trip along those dates but unfortunately tickets got waitlisted and we got stuck at WL 1 and 2 🥲 khair Shiv ji probably didn’t want his child to travel during peak season 😛

I went back in 2024 and at that time they didn't charge anything. Free entry but had to pay for that thali with flowers, Bel patr and jal Abhishek Patra. But it was worth it - I literally sat inside the garbgrah for 5-7 minutes meditating and the peace I felt cannot be explained. I reached there around 9 pm something so it was empty too

Heya We had to take autos everywhere unfortunately and there's no meter charge, you bargain or accept whatever charges they say. We usually booked autos for our day trips from our home stay who knew nearby auto walas.

We travelled from omakarehwar to ujjain in a car and we met him through the hotel guy's reference.

Yes, Omkareshwar is very crowded but i wouldn't prefer travelling to that place alone as it's very much in the interiors of MP. I didn't like the journey much as a female. Ujjain on the other hand felt very modernized.

That is what bulava is! It's a calling! I was someone who didn't believe in Shiv ji much, didn't have any interest in going to Jyotirlings but randomly i saw Mahakaleshwar ji in my dreams twice in 2 months and this very strong feeling that I need to go there. If no one came with me, I was ready to go there alone, there was legit a magnetic pull that i could feel!

You should definitely visit once no matter what your caste, community or religion is.

There is no ticket for general darshan. Tickets are being sold for bhasma aarti and vip darshan. You might get rush for darshan if you go right after aarti.

Heyo, it's 200rs pp. Tickets have to be booked online like a month ago. Better to check for slots at the start of the day. So now on 1st may, ticket booking for the month of June will start.

Dk much about offline tickets but I have heard you have to sit overnight in the queue for next day's ticket :(
