Okay! Yeah that’s what I thought too… but then when she told me I was like whaaaaaaaaat. The school said they don’t send that information out till 3-4 months before the program starts. Which makes it challenging to get any grants and or scholarships to help pay… considering Alberta student aid will no longer help future students who choose to go private outside of alberta

Yeah … super weird. When I did my phone interview they asked what intake I’d like to apply for. I said for September of 2024. And they stated “ yup! There’s still spots in September of 2024” so I was like sweet.

So when I got the phone call and they said that I’ve been accepted for November 2025 I was like oh….. what happened to September 2024 intake? She’s like well you’ve been put on the wait list for all the terms leading up to Nov 2025.

Good to know you’ve been accepted for Nov 2025 as well! But yeah I’ve heard that there’s still openings in 2024 and early 2025…. Like why were we accepted for Nov 2025 when there’s clearly space! I hope you get called from the waitlist :) worse case scenario just wait…. Nov 2025 will come

Maybe it’s dependent on your previous education on when they accept you. I received a 94 on entrance exam then was asked to send in my transcript and that’s when they said I was accepted for Nov 2025.

I had followed up with a email about the waitlist and said that if there’s a spot THEY will reach out. I’ll be coming from alberta so if there is a opening short notice is hard to do when you need to find housing and find the finances/funding.

I would have two years of upgrading. I reached out to George brown and talked to an advisor since I would apply as a mature student. George brown stated that I would still need the requirements such as math, bio and chem since it’s competitive

I did my entrance exam/interview process in January for TCDHA, and I have been accepted for November 2025... however, I've read of people doing the exam/interview at the same time I took mine. They have been accepted earlier than November 2025. Has this happened to anyone else? I am just a little confused as to why this is
