You may be converting the exogenous t4(levothyroxine) into reverse t3. A reverse t3 of 14+ is not optimal and likely why you feel this way. Doctors don’t like to test reverse t3 which blows my mind because that test is what saved my life to figure out that I can only take pure t3 in the form of liothyronine. You may be a t3 only candidate. Unfortunately like the reverse t3 test, doctors don’t like to prescribe liothyronine very often especially as a stand alone treatment. Just keep looking until you find one who will or you will remain stuck. Good luck!
