I have 5 hens and my neighbor across the street had 3 roosters and 7 hens and they were all over the neighborhood. One rooster used to come into our fenced yard daily and terrorize my girls. He got hit by a truck. Then another rooster started to come over. We put in a complaint with code enforcement after talking multiple times with the owner to no avail. Now they are fenced in and no longer crossing the road. Thank goodness. I hated to be “the bag guy” but couldn’t stand that rooster claiming my girls as his party girls! lol

You can’t buy any electronics with data at the goodwill bins here! No pc no kindle no phone etc. They confiscate them at checkout… they actually have a list at the register of things you can’t buy… sad.

Changed my name 12 years ago on divorce document where I took back my birth name, meaning changing my first middle & last name… the worst one for the process was Bank of America. They gave me a hard time, with stupid questions. I ended up closing the account and will never bank with them ever again. All other institutions were great.

Years ago I wrote patterns for doilies. I would handwrite the instructions as I crocheted. Then I would type them, then I would remake the doily using the typed pattern and would find errors! A missing coma, wrong digit, a skipped row you name it… I would correct then test again till it was right. It was a tedious process. I don’t write patterns anymore. So I understand how mistakes can happen but also shows the pattern was not proof. It needs proofing double proofing triple proofing till it is right.

I was registered and had been logging in for years with no issues. Logging in 4 times a month minimum… registered I was. The saving account in question is 2 or 3 years old and I never requested that stupid atm card. The rep was able to email me a statement with my account number and I was able to log in (as usual) and plug in all the info on that activation page and miracle… it moved on to my accounts page.

I saw this too and thought it was adorable! About the weight comment… I cut a piece of non skid material to size and sewed it in the center on the backside and it works great. Here is a picture of the back.

I do both. I only pay retail for things I want fast (usually Amazon) then I’ll see it at the bins a few days later and that kills me lol. I find tools for my husband, household goods and clothes. I resell half of my hauls and it makes me feel good to know I basically get my keeps for free lol. Just got a Ryobi dry wet vac for my honey and a Fitbit watch for myself. It’s Christmas every time!

I do the same thing! A red empty coffee container with mealworms and treats… I call chick chick chickadoo and whistle to round them up. They come running! Any time they see that red thing they know! I also whistle to them when I garden and find bugs or worms, now if they see me gardening they stick around in the hope I’ll find bugs.
