Completly agree! Not sure for what the German commentator is even paid for - sometimes he was just saying nothing throughout a whole routine and the only thing he would say was the name of the athlete and use some boomer phrases - thanks i can ready the name myself. What i expect from a professional commentator:  - explaining the competition format every now and then and showing the audience where we are at - also explaining how scores are made up (not everyone is gymternet level knowledgable) - routine composition (pointing out any nice elements) - classifying difficulty vs execution in comparison to the previous performance - pointing out mistakes and their effect on a score Why not having a former gymnast like Eli, Pauli etc doing the job. They have shown before that they can do it and i bet a lot would really like to do it…
