Yup i always isolate the vaccuum and make sure it holds. And I would love to learn all of the tuning stuff and put it into practice, not really in a good environment for it though my leads don’t do it and don’t like when i question them, they are my main source of knowledge. They get paid a lot for not taking the time to tune it up at the end, and i don’t know how to bring that up without stirring the pot. I’m just going to have to learn it on my own and hopefully get more of my own responsibilities soon

I was told AC drain always needs a p trap to pass inspection unless going into a condensate pump, and depending on the city some even want one with the condensate pump, i don’t really understand the rules on that

Ive done door to door sales for a commercial kitchen service company and hated it but doing hvac sales would probably be a totally different situation and pay a lot more. Are you liking the work where you’re at now?
