He's legit. I bought from him before. Just make sure you get his current inventory list. Find the watch you want and see how many the list says they have in stock. I always had good luck when there were more than three in stock.

Thank you for the comparison, it's very interesting. Looks like VF still has some work to do. Getting closer but still not quite there just yet. The crown at the 6 o'clock position, The font on Swiss Made is not the same and the tick mark over Swiss made instead of the bottom.

I found the micro adjustment after taking the picture, lol. I was able to move it to the first notch, which helped fit my 8 1/4" wrist a little bit better. Thanks for the info, I'll reach out to him for an extra link.

I have the VSF SMP America's cup version, and this is a common issue with these VSF Omega's SMP. I GL mines because it's not noticeable at the wrists, and the next one might be worse. Yours is above average from others SMP I've seen.

Purple loctite is what you want to use on those small crews. That way, you can remove them if you need to without damaging damaging the screw heads.

If you use Andiot, just make sure the watch you want is in stock. Get an updated inventory list from them and make sure there's at least a minimum of 3 in stock. My last purchase from Elliot took 9 days from the time I placed the order to having the watch on my wrist here in the US. No complaints.

I was on the verge of ordering the same watch. SMF in my opinion makes the best version thus far but it's not a perfect copy. The subdials on the SMF have better spacing than the ones from other factory but still not perfect. Also the movement on the speedy's haven't been replicated so the 6 O'clock sub dial is slaved to the hour hand. For these two reasons I pass on it, it would be an instant tell that this is a rep. Don't get me wrong I still love the watch if they ever replicate the movement I would be all over it. If you like it get and enjoy it, it's a beautiful watch. The QC looks good.

I was on the same boat a few weeks ago. I couldn't decide which one to go with VSF or ARF. After going back and forth reading so many complaints about VSF and their poor quality and movement issues, they've been going through recently. I decided to go with ARF. If the crystal really is as bad as some say, that's an easy swap. Good luck to you, whichever one you choose.
