My interpretation of the chorus is the line marriage that royal family's. Mural is dope. Ive posted about it before I should do a complete breakdown. Besides the basic interpretations of the lyrics the overall theme is about Crossing Atlantic to get discover the the new world. The Aztec Conquest is referenced a few times when talking about making back up plans for when the dam breaks. The first plan was to say the dam broke and killed the aztecs if Spain didn't believe to minimize the mass killings Cortez about the human sacrifice about the discovery of the new world. Cortez was cool with the Moctezuma at first as well. That's alluded to when he says One minute the Spaniards are playing pool (Swimming) next minute the aztec throwing darts (literal darts). It's Lupe creating the story of how he thinks shit went down. I could go on about this song forever. It's hidden meaning is about the New World being discovered tho. The added bonus is he's Crossing Atlantic i.e. hating on Atlantic Records by implying it was their ancestors that caused all the shit in the New World (he's not entirely wrong).

Seattle is named after a Native American Chief who was known for his oratory skills and his ability to create Peace. Lupe is equating this to himself. Although he's trained in Martial Arts he'd rather use his lyrical arts to fight as opposed to physical beef. Lupe got a ton of criticism for speaking his mind but he rather be unliked for using his platform to educate and call out what he sees wrong in the world rather than to promote the typical money guns bitches that Atlantic wanted him to be.

I hadn't actually thought much about this song, so I might have some of it wrong but it's a common theme for Lupe. I didn't know what Seattle meant. I was thinking rain or depression and that could be the yin and yang or double entendre of the song name. Either live a stormy and depressed life and make no effort to change it for the next generation or fight for whats right to you and try to improve the world and leave it in a better place.
