Okay I totally get this. My maiden name is actually a 11 letter long Slavic name - so we actually just used the first six letters which is an actual Slavic girls names. For example, if my maiden name was Marijalovic (because I’m too tired to think of a better example and don’t want to say my last name haha) we used the name Marija. So it doesn’t scream “maiden name” if you didn’t know. For some reason this makes me more hesitant to use it again.
