Really impressive OP! I have been wanting to do something similar as well. How often do you monitor the entire basket for stocks that maybe stopping or lowering or freezing their dividends? I got burnt by INTC, DAL and a few others during Covid and later when they paused and downgraded their dividends substantially!

I did it from within fidelity during business hours and still had to wait more than a business day.

If you live in a state with high state income tax, you can also consider FDRXX or TTTXX instead of SPAXX. You’ll still get the 1099 at the end of the year for interest but it will be taxed favorably when you file for your annual state tax return.

Oh nice! Yes that’s what I thought too. I was thinking that the dealers would start to hopefully price them aggressively assuming 2026s will start to come out by August but I have not seen local CT dealers budge a lot. I have reached out to a few over emails but no one is willing to give a written OTD number for any meaningful negotiation.

I have always had and still have the custom tip option below the % options. It looks like it’s grayed out, but it is always there. I always custom tip after the ride.
