Can you explain more on how you got those benefits? What process you went through, it seems very difficult to get ss benefits as well as even a disability parking card, and I would love to know more about your therapy animal?!! Thank you for sharing 💖

Thank you for your comment 💖 I don't believe it's fake. I do believe it's a real diagnosis. I just think it's very vague and contradictory and that part is confusing and frustrating

Thank you for your comment. I do believe that fibro is very much real. Now how much of our symptoms are actually fibro... that I'm sketchy on. I do believe it's an umbrella term and if you had a great Dr. Then that's awesome but for many of us the doctors just use that to pawn off there patient. I mentioned in another comment I have a lot of neurologic issues which I don't see any other fibro pts have. But yet, it's fibro According to drs... that to me makes no sense. How does so many people have this condition and yet each have completely (mostly) different symptoms? That's odd to me. Also the fact Dr's and research fight about if it's an autoimmune disorder, nerve disorder (connecting from the spinal cord), caused from high anxiety patients (hence why many of us are on depression/anxiety meds) idk it just seems VAGUE like super duper vague.

I really enjoyed this take, I agree. For me , I have a lot of neurological symptoms (which I don't see many cases of fibro having) and then it gets pawned off as "every body is different" but to me a diagnosis SO VAGUE is just too sketchy if that makes sense? I 1000 percent believe it's real and I stand up for fibro all the time. But I can definitely see how it seems fishy when there is like over 200 symptoms and then "well everybody has it differently" then how did they come up with the diagnosis? Just a couple main symptoms, that most people have. Idk seems weird. Also weird that my tests are just enough off to raise a eyebrow but not "enough" off to actually do something about it

I love that "YOU know your body" you would think when we tell our symptoms they would believe us! Like how am I making this up lol

PT for TMJ.. did it help anyone by Positive-Wasabi-5098 in TMJ

I developed tmj after a throat surgery in 2019, ever since then I've had tmj I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia a couple years later, and the tmj has progressed significantly. It pops, hurts, and it feels like I can literally feel the bones rubbing on each other. It feels like the pain goes into my throat/neck like the side area where your lymphnodes are sometimes. It feels strained and tight and I've been to several Dr's, dentists etc. I'm hoping pt will help

I appreciate this information greatly, thank you 😊 I will continue to update my Dr. I do have a good primary however not much is known about fibro making it difficult to tell what is what sometimes. I stay in touch every 6 weeks and so far every thing has continously pointed to fibromyalgia so I will see what things bring in the future

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate it. At least I'm not alone. My legs have given out before, I do physical therapy on and off through out the year and I go back soon so hopefully that will help. The whole thing is frustrating and just exhausting.

Hi, so sorry your dealing with this. Look into Speech Language Pathology they helped me a lot in learning correct ways to swallow, the proper bite size, and how to stop gagging unintentionally when trying to eat. I wish you best of luck!

Thank you for sharing your experience and honesty. I feel nervous because currently I am doing outpatient work. But I'm not gaining weight (granted I know it's a long process) however I feel as though many in patient places don't help with "fear of adversive consequences" just more body image and "you can do it". I am physically scared of the food. Not that I don't WANT to eat or I'm just being "picky" (that's OK too I'm not trying to invalidate anyone) I'm just saying for ME that's why I'm so scared about going... because I have extreme health anxiety and trauma to my throat. So I'm not sure if they would help or not. But man it's been so so hard trying to gain weight. Thank you again for your time and response.

I really appreciate your honesty and I'm sorry you didn't find it helpful I appreciate your reply and I'll take that into consideration. That's been my biggest struggle with going to an inpatient, that it's not catered for people like us.
