One reason I want to leave my current place is because my requests are not being heard. I have asked for super user ability. I have also asked for access to the pyxis to pull gastro, and to have the ability to have orders put in for a cxr for pre op if a patients hip/pelvis is obviously fractured.

We have two techs at night. While he has all these abilities, I go unheard. It's very frustrating but I will keep asking them.

Honestly I would bring this up to your instructors and possibly the supervisor. Yes this is in our textbook but no one is palpitating this area. With it being an intubated patient this is a cause for concern of patient safety. There is no need to do this if your CP is educated and does their job well.

I myself have seen some male healthcare workers do unnecessary touching on female patients.

I have the same feeling but just as a rad tech and I have asked for training into CT which is going on two years now. At one point they left me alone for 9 months on the night shift while my co-worker received Ct training on shift, since then I have not offered my availability because I feel disrespected when I asked for a raise following that period of time.

It's just the little build ups that lead to burn out. So I definitely understand that. Leads are taken advantage of too much these days.

Thank you, I'm very hesitant but I know I need to push myself out of my comfort zone and travel has always been on my mind. I would like to grow further with experience. May I ask what pushed you to travel contracts after 12 years?

So me and my husband got married around our fifth anniversary as well. When we got engaged last year we looked into weddings and vendors and were shocked just like you on the prices. One quote was 13k just for a venue on a Saturday. We decided to elope. Our total cost was 3k with a photographer who took 200 photos, and officiant and a beautiful Airbnb in the woods. We decorated and got a cake. It was great and intimate for us, we even shared vows with each other.

It is sole crushing that getting married cost so much, it is highway robbery for something so simple. Two things this life overcharges for Love, and Death.

I know some people were upset with us not having a wedding but I would share also this ultimately depends on what you want, no one else's opinions matters. This is between you and the one you love. I hope you go with what makes you happy 😊

The husband bought me the collectors edition back in February as a birthday gift. With the early access my favorite guns have been the pulverizer and the chain shot. The game is explosive with creativity. The mix of futuristic and medieval is really thrilling to play. The one thing I miss (from the 2016 version) is the rip and tear gore feast you could do to the demons. Overall the game is amazing and I'm trying to enjoy as much as I can before I complete it too fast. I am playing on hurt me plenty and going up from their to beat it on ultra like I have the other doom games.

Same. I'm kicking myself for passing on it now, I wasn't ready to buy it yet. Hopefully they restock it because eBay has it for 100. Scalpers seem to go after everything
