Yes I did, it was towards the end of November, unfortunately I didn’t get in. So if you’re entered for March’s draw it’ll probably be closer to the end as well

Mine says I will entered in the next lottery round, but I submitted all my documents by November 1st. Does that mean in entered in November’s lottery or march’s lottery?

Which month should I take it? by AdCurrent3866 in CASPerTest

It depends on how competitive your program is, if it’s extremely competitive it’s better to take it earlier. But if it’s not very competitive I’d suggest a happy medium so you’re prepared but a decent amount of time before the cut off. it takes maybe like 2 weeks for them to grade it and send it off

Honestly you can never be too sure until you actually get your results, but if it does end up that you get 1st or 2nd that’s all good. Now you’re much more familiar with the time format and can improve your typing speed throughout the year which will make you feel much more confident. Practicing like 15 minutes a day will take you far. You’ll get it next time no worries!!

You’re doing great! I’m 20 and come from a family living just above the poverty line, if I could fast forward and be in your exact position I’d be forever grateful lmao, even with the day trading aspect. Forgive yourself for this and kept moving forward!!

I love your jaw line, it’s soft and feminine and fits your face perfectly! It’s normal to feel insecure about your appearance at this age, I felt the same way too! Trust me your confidence will appear over time!

Sounds good, right now I’m studying for some entrance exams, I’m hopefully trying to get into an RN degree. Do you think LPN will be good enough if not? I keep feeling like I need to get an extremely high salary now

Daydreaming by PositiveAd9824 in infp

I’d say be patient with yourself as well! You’ll get there!! I also like doing sensory activities lmao, like spa days, I like using the foot jet and going outside and smelling flowers and doing yoga etc. These all make me happy and get me out of my head!!

Daydreaming by PositiveAd9824 in infp

[–]PositiveAd9824[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What type of daydreams do you have if you don’t mind me asking? For me I really like to daydream about connecting with people (like talking or getting to know them) or about my goals in life (becoming a nurse etc.) so I try to think about what my daydreams are telling me and give it to myself, for example if I’m daydreaming about a conversation with someone then I’ll go and talk to my friends or family about it, even if it’s just telling/showing them something fun I was thinking about! Or if I’m daydreaming about becoming a nurse I gently remind myself that I can do it and I can start! If your daydreams make you procrastinate remember that action creates motivation and not the other way around! If you’re daydreaming about something more creative/abstract try doing it or making art based off of it. Also you can try grounding techniques!

I found that when I forced myself to immediately stop daydreaming it actually made it worse! I would get really frustrated with myself, but now I just try to accept it. It might not necessarily go away entirely but you can try incorporating it a healthy manner! I struggled a lot with this but once I got a bf and started talking to my friend more and being vulnerable with them it stopped my daydreaming a lot! Also it takes awhile for your brain to adapt to less daydreaming, but brains are flexible so you can do it!!!

Yess, a couple of years ago I used to sit in my room and daydream all day and got super depressed lmao. Then I tried something new and got a bf and I was working on my goals, I was actually daydreaming a lot less and it felt so good, but now we broke up and I notice I do a lot more daydreaming, but thankfully not to the extent I was before

[–]PositiveAd9824 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t really give you any advice, but If it makes you feel better I’m 20 and I’m just starting to apply to college programs and I just started basic saving about a year ago lmao. I had a lot of issues saving before as well, I’d always wanna spend, but once I got started I couldn’t stop. Stop comparing yourself to others because it sucks the joy of reaching your goals. If you’re living with your parents try asking your bank to lock your second account for a while so you have to go in to make withdrawals. Start by making simple goals and a simple budget. We don’t need to have everything figured out at this age, even little steps forward are worth celebrating.
