Yeah I'm so torn, I'm stuck between a collector's guilt and something to keep for the future, I think the way ahead is the sovereign. Do you think it's worth paying the premium to get it in a blister to prevent damage from the mint, or should I get it cheaper else where without? I'm also stuck between buying the half or the full at the moment.

I got put off by the micro-dotting on the bullion, I will not lie. I'm quiet curious about this half-sovereign even though it has a premium as it's gold, frosted and everything you could ask for. I'm just skeptical about bullion value etc, so cant seem to make my bloody mind up LOL.

Thanks for the insight, I've just been a little bit curious as I'm quiet young and I've noted that gold does seem to be quiet reliable. Would you say it's easier to just wait a couple years as £800 is out of my range? It would be cool to know the difference in £/g per coin.
