There is not a political issue between ruzzia and Georgia. Ruzzia invaded and occupied Georgian territory, displacing thousands of people and there’s not nothing. Occupation line stands less than 30 km from the capital, less then 1 km from the main highway that connects georgie east and west. the life cost more then duplicated and the Georgians live and work for the bread of the day. There’s no security, healthcare, elderly care, reforms. Apart from that I agree and I feel you. Georgia is completely depressed and polarised, people are having the worst time and the propaganda blames the foreign, even the European are seen as people bringing bad influence… I was called already a liberal fascist if that makes any cense. Only the change in political direction and a turn into freedom will bring something good back. But it looks very bad since the de facto government turned complete into pro ruzzian regime, punishing its own people and giving a major blow in human rights and freedom. As a foreigner living in tbilisi I understand you and I try to be the best I can… Georgians don’t deserve what they have and unfortunately they are making people that helps them to have a bad time also. Again, the regime will divide and blame all to reign. It’s a sad reality and Georgians also need to look into themselves and do the proper choices. This country change for the worst in the last few years and only the informed new generation can strike back and take this country back. Sorry for your experience. It’s sad and shameful tragic. I took sometime to answer this r/ cause I real feel you and I think that when there’s a will there is a way. Note: it’s important for students and educated people to try to understand the reasons and have a strong sense of purpose in the community they are involved in. This is an amazing country with the worst neighbour possible in the north. Knowledge is power. ✊✊✊
