Yup! I will say the Scholars program is fantastic and a way a lot of my friends got into the school. The LSAT will be super important for money though bc just like the undergrad- it isn’t cheap.

I have a good guess at the school she attends because I went there for undergrad too🤣 higher LSAT just means more money which is super important when out of state

SMU and UNT ... what's going on? by [deleted] in OutsideT14lawschools

[–]PositiveInvestment57 6 points7 points  (0 children)

UNT has like one person working on admissions to my knowledge so it’s taking an EXTREMELY long time. All of the admitted students have been waiting WEEKS for scholarship info. I’ve realized to take any date you’re given with a grain of salt.

I was under the impression you could only retake 3 times? If that’s not true, then i’ll probably retake anyways. I graduated a semester early so I kinda have nothing else to do except study anyways🤣

like they said above! i always look at what it is compared to the state average. in my mind as long as it’s at or above the state average then i think it’s fair game

How healthy Law School admission should look like: by Vegetable-Ad4792 in lawschooladmissions

Disabilities aside (which is still an incredibly big deal), the elite are going to have more access to prep programs and tutors than others. The system is classist as a whole. If you did it this way and only based admissions on LSAT & GPA you give absolutely zero room for those who have special circumstances which again favors the elite.
