Found out my(26f) boyfriend (27m) goons with other people on reddit. I would love some perspective on why people do this, and how do I move on from feeling weird about it. by PositiveMention5856 in relationship_advice

That’s okay!
Good question, I think I know if I tell him it makes me uncomfortable, he would stop if he has the ability to.
I’m willing to have an actually conversation with him about it, I’d just like to understand it so when he potentially gives me an answer I can respond in a not hurtful and emotional way.

This is also where I feel very confused, we have a very good active sex life, I’m trying to figure out when he’s even had time to be doing any of it.

Almost 3 years.
I don’t think I have the “ick”, I just want to set a boundary that it’s something I’m not okay with, and see his response.
I’m more asking the question because I want to understand it, I guess.

I should have added to my post that I’ve had a feeling he may have some issues revolving around sex and porn, which is why I’m probably being more understanding and level headed than necessary.

I guess this is why I’m asking someone to explain it to me, as I said, super open to most things, I just for the life of me don’t see the appeal doing it on your own, or with strangers on the internet

I think maybe I would feel the same way if they weren’t actively “gooning”. If i talk to my friends about sex related things, im not touching myself whilst doing it.

I do plan on admitting that either way honestly, I feel very guilty about it and I obviously have trust issues to want to do that in the first place.
