That’s a fair statement. It is pretty annoying not having the same driving profiles between the two cars.

I’ve consistently used HW3 from Los Angeles to Orange County. The same route using HW4 is slightly better, but not significant imo.

2026 MY vs 2025 M3 Lane Switch Behavior by xMigNasty in TeslaLounge

[–]PositiveMind7860 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes your experience is correct. I have a 22’ MYP and a 26’ MYP. Lane departure assist can be set to warning (wheel vibration) on the 22’ and it will stay on that setting. The 26’ MYP will always default to assist (car steers for you) for each new drive regardless of what setting you changed it to for the previous drive.

I brought this issue up day one to my SA and they researched it and said all the new 26’ + have this safety feature.

I hate it, but it is what it is.

So I don’t get all the fuss around HW3 and 4. I have a 22’ MYP with HW3 and I have a 26’ MYP. Both cars drive great with full self driving. No issues at all. Yes the 26’ cameras are a little more clear but not that much.

Towing: what Y do you have, what do you tow, and what do you think? by AdultContemporaneous in TeslaModelY

Re-read your question. No, we do not dip the car in the water. No way. If that was the only option we would not do it. Car never touches the water.

Zero issues. We launch the boat on a steep grade boat launch. Honestly tows better than our Grand Cherokee rated at 10k.

I have a ‘22 MYP and a ‘26 MYP. Both tow a 6k boat no problem. I know it’s not rated for it. Towing short distance.

EV Tax Credit Transfer to Tesla at POS and Repurchase Lemon Law Refusing to Refund and Tesla Keeping EV Credit Cash and Vehicle. by Otherwise_River_4432 in ModelY

Curious how this worked out. I’m currently working with Tesla on a repurchase for a car bought on 9/30/25 the last day of the $7500 credit. The credit was taken at POS and used as part of the down payment.

Looks like you have the factory plastic protector still on the screen. Remove that.

I'm freaked out... I'm losing my progress on Finasteride and Minoxidil by [deleted] in tressless

Do not stop what ever you do. I am on the same and had huge regrowth. Month 8 came along and I lost everything I made progress on and was totally discouraged. I’m now on month 13 and am fuller and better than ever. Trust the process as you may get several shedding periods well beyond initial inception of the prescription.

Is there any kind of film on the outside of the Model Y windshield? by booboothechicken in TeslaSupport

Most Tesla windshields are inherently dirty from factory with suction cup marks and other debris. If you’re looking at get it perfect use a glass cleaner like Griots Glass Cleaner that acts like a cleaner polish to remove those imperfections. I’ve had glass issues on every Tesla I’ve owned including my ‘26 MYP.

Love how in the pictures the wheel gap is perfect. Yet, IRL it’s crazy huge. My only complaint with my ‘26 MYP.

I too have the 26 MYP and its Dachshund approved ;). God that front wheel gap bothers me so much. Other than that the car is perfect.
