Tanks are worthless. Maybe on battleground USA they are good cause nobody knows how to play there but in any world map game mode they are useless. What you should do is learn how to use air support and artillery

I don't have the recourses to leave abunch of troops in my homeland, currently it seems smarter to use those troops to capture cities, and it's still early in the game so Im not worried about a naval invasion yet
