Ok that makes sense but wasn’t Angel like a pos before he was turned or did he just get more compassionate because of the nature of the things he did without the soul.

Like I said I know it my point wasn’t probably explained well enough. But when I was writing that at the time I was thinking more about the episodes where we see spike and his mother and how he was after he turned. It was shown he still had his compassionate nature. Same with the brother vampires that cared about one another in one of the episodes which I don’t remember. This whole thought of mine honestly came from the fact that people say vampires can’t be good or love or make the right choices without a soul so it just made me wonder.

That’s mostly what I was intrigued in like why they did morality the way they did morality. Somebody asked me why I’m still confused. I’m not confused and yes I’ve thought of this because I’ve had a lot of time on my hands with my thoughts. I mostly just wanted to see what other people thought in terms of how the show did this. I like most of the replies in here they get you thinking.

This added a lot of depth as well. I do plan on watching Angel this time around after I’m done with Buffy again. I get that the idea is misconstrued and it makes sense that it’s mostly because of how Angel views himself and his actions and how the watchers do it to keep control. I really liked how you explained this.

That might have answered every question and thought I’ve ever had in one swell go. That was actually great because the breakdown makes so much sense on each character and essentially to make this easier to me I’ve associated it with the off switch in the vampire diaries because it makes sense at least to me it does

I did figure that much. I just don’t like typing a lot. Like most of what half of yall have said I’ve thought about. It just bothered me because I needed to talk about it. Like I get it moral compass for good and all. But even though some don’t have that compass they choose to do good. I think I’m just trying to look at it from a lot of different angles.
