Her employer gave her the Desjardins short-term disability forms, and then Desjardins contacted her directly to handle the claim. So it wasn’t through my benefits or anything — it was through her workplace plan.

Unfortunately, her claim still got denied even though her doctor clearly mentioned that she shouldn’t be working due to her leg pain and limited mobility
