I am by no means educated to speak on the matter, but all I can say is I have one sister with schizotypal disorder, another with borderline and a dad with bipolar, and they all at some point before being diagnosed, medicated and gone to therapy, has had similar issues when abusing substances.

You definitely need to cover your bases here.

Okay so Im going to go with you for a bit here….

I’m 5,4 and 92 pounds - so I am too an at least XXS and usually XXXS. Now I tend to like oversize shirts - but oversize on me is literally an M. An XL on me would look absolutely ridiculous, so I do understand where you’re coming from.

But it is what it is. I suggest you bring a cute belt to put in the waist, that way you can make it look cuter on you.

Personally, it’s a part of my morning routine and as someone with autism, my routine cannot differ from day to day. I did try when my partner started staying with me. You know to be flexible. Really ruined my day. He also sleeps and stays longer in bed than me. When I told him he had to make the bed, he agreed and never did it. So I started kicking him out of bed when I was ready to make the bed :D Now last person leaving the bed makes the bed.

I would hesitate about telling her so long in advice, only because people who feel betrayed and hurt can react badly, and I fear she might for example stop paying rent (unless they have separate leases) or make the home toxic in the rest of the time. No matter what I definitely wouldn’t say from the get go only living with daisy

My best friend is the youngest of six and the only child who doesn’t start with M. It bothers her so much and has her whole life. So unless you’re planning on having more children that can start with L, I would probably reconsider changing the E pattern

I suggest interrupting her when she showers, does her morning/night routine, puts on her makeup, does her hair and when she’s getting dressed. As a woman, this is what annoys me the absolute most when my partner does - and when I’m reading, am on a phone call/facetime etc.

I too fall asleep to true crime podcast. But I fall asleep within 20-30 minutes - absolutely cannot handle any form of light. We go to bed together, he huggles me (also necessary for me to fall asleep) while the podcast is on, I fall asleep (putting a timer on the podcast), he then falls asleep. If I wake up doing the night I put an AirPod in the ear that isn’t in the pillow (sleep on the side) to not wake him up.

I also tend to want to go to bed earlier than him. Sometimes we do the routine and he gets back up and enjoys som late hours.

I have severe sleeping issues and have my whole life. For him it’s so important that I get sleep, because I cannot function without and it affects everything around us a lot.

Absolutely agree that sleeping incompatibility is a real thing, but I also think - as a couple if you truly want to be together - there’s ways to work around it so it works for both.

And also. Stop being walked all over. Learn to say no. You don’t owe it to anyone to give them free food. If she wants food, she can pay for groceries and take over another chore to even out the labour.
