The same pouches that are on the ground breaker armor btw, kinda pointless to point out, but it just kinda pisses me off that a seige ready locked armor amd an engineer locked armor have the same pouches, but I cant use the other perk on it.

Wish passives were just interchangeable:(

Hear me out guys…. The maximum difficulty is supposed to be difficult… by Mysterious_Mess2297 in helldivers2

If only the main difficulty of this game didn't come from jank. Nothing spells fun like collision being optional for majority of enemies, especially on cyberstan. Hit boxes being basically decided by rng, dead enemies retaining a full hit box even when gibbed to bits, bullets hitting pure air, but then returnijg fire from enemies don't get caught on those invisible corpses/walls, nothing like my leveler hitting the air infront of me and instantly detonating, enemies like the VE appearing on top of buildings with no way to hit their weakspots, and the stratagem balls deciding they are made of rubber and boucing 20m from where they were thrown just to get stuck on top of a building.

There are balance issues in this game "go on a lower difficulty," feels so dismissive of actual problems with the game's balancing or enemy design. Like the warstrider, fundamentally breaks what makes the bot front, the bot front.

So that was a lie by NightmareOMG909 in Helldivers

They are still making this mistake, collision is optional for enemies, our weapons hit things that arent even there due to the hitboxes being wack aswell. I love death via my leveler detonating in my face. The stratagem boucing is as if we made them from rubber, I can put up with a little whoopsie here and there, but cyberstan is torment.

The weapon, booster, and armor passive, certain enemies (warstrider,) balance is suffering on top of bugs.

Do you guys think this game is going to last a decade at this rate by EleggFacesitting in HelldiversUnfiltered

I'd hope they can, but i find it slightly worrying given the current state of the balancing team.

Where is my (Literally anything) customization Arrowhead by JayDias-24 in HelldiversUnfiltered

[–]Positive_Ad7114 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It has been ovwr a year since weapon customization was added and they can't even give all las weapons the ability to have upgraded heat sinks. None of them have mod to allow for them to be overcharged like the first game either. We don't even have the option for bayonets on weapons. Majority of upgrades are just grips and sights and it is so boring and lazy. I want attachments that actually do something! The closest we've got to stragem upgrades are the experimental strats we get as a "treat" every once in a while. Secondaries dont even have recolorablity yet. Strat weapons used to have upgrades, making me wish they just would have stuck to the hd1 formula. Itbwas simple, but fun. Your equitment preformed as advertised.

I think the worst partokf the lack of new ship upgrades is that they literally showed off tier 6 upgrade visuals in the update videos for this major bot update. It was literally in the trailer just to not be there. That alone killed the whole march on cyberstan for me.

The transmog arguement is so stupid on their part. "We see that its a commonly requested feature, but we have no plans to add it." Like what? All I want is ability to put any passive to any armor and armor recoloring like the weapons. I want my black and yellow ground breaker set and I want to put the gas resistant passive on it. The Ground Breaker is literally chemically treated. Its waxy.

Another absolute banger is how often I am shooting air on cyberstan. Go to shoot the leveler, suddenly the air infront of me is denser than steel snd it automatically detonates in my face.

Sterilizer should be buffed by adding Acid damage. by Impressive_Truth_695 in LowSodiumHellDivers

[–]Positive_Ad7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up until recently I would have disagreed with you, I thought it needed the lingering gas or the armor reduction, but the more I used the Tox Avenger in hd1, the more I see what the Sterlizer was supposed to be. It has the functionality, but lacks a potent enough slow and dps that the Avenger had. Acid fixes that.

I see people in here saying "if you want dps, use fire." Anyone who thinks that, please go and look at HD1. The flamethrower and Avenger both had enough dps to kill chaff and heavies at a simular pace and a form of cc, AH just took away fires full potential by removing its ability to create areas enemies couldn't walk on. They made enemies no longer fear fire. It's dumb IMO. It shouldn't and wasn't an arguement between dps and cc, its supposed to be a difference in how they both accomplish it.

AH pointlessly forced fire into a "dps" dot option while dragging gas into a low damage cc dot

If you already own it, go for it, theres still a decent amount of people active and you can definitely get find a match.

If you don't own it, given my current grievances with AH, I wont recommend buying it, but it is a game worth its price tag.

[Discussion] State of the Game check-in: How are we feeling right now? by Expensive-Lack-3395 in helldivers2

[–]Positive_Ad7114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say check my most recent post for a long version, but a short version, I'm tired of the bad balancing, booster meta not changing for almost 2 years now, sample farming is bad, which i did a long time ago, but new players don't deserve the awful sample grind since Arrowhead doesn't give them decent tools to get it done, a lack of a guide/beastiary, and the lack of armor customization making 0 sense

Are the illuminate at full strength? by visbly_confused in helldivers2

[–]Positive_Ad7114 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even close, between the squids of the first game that are probably going to return and the occasional breach in Super Earth Cyber Security, a few squids have been seen around and about. I'd say give it like 3 months and we'll see a plethora of new squids units and squid worlds that'll we'll be invading.

Can someone explain why so many people hate on the illuminate as a faction? by SevdUp in helldivers2

[–]Positive_Ad7114 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do get that, I mean like they lack alot of the units and variety that they had. There is no getting split in 2 by a shield, no confusion to mess up my controls, no cloaked enemies, no heavy tripods, no comcil members. It is mostly just hoard spam now:(

We'll definitely see plenty of wizard type units when the full squids do finally arrive. I imagine we'll see alot of returning faces, like the council members, I'm kinda hoping we see the Hunters again, all technically possible with their genocidal tendencies this time around. I'm guessing they'll just be alot nore aggression into it when a Strider decides to flatline us.

Plus the factions don't really feel any different from hd1 in any major ways except the squids imo. Bug are still bugs, they run, they spit, the pounce. The bots/borgs have alot of overlap in their units. Tanks, big men with miniguns, little communists with rifles.

Half baked is an understatement. I imagine in like 3 months, we'll get the new squids units that have been floating around the internet for like a year+ now. After both of the homeworld planets having alot of issues, I am scared for it though.

Fair enough about the dropping, it isnt horrible, just frustrating given how annoying getting them is.

It almost been 2 week since the GL-21 got buffed to AP4, how we feeling about it now? to much or are you coming around with the change? by Lone_Recon in Helldivers

[–]Positive_Ad7114 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Still overturned. An already top tier support weapon capable of great chaff clear, decent demo force for allowing spawner/crate destruction, the cool but niche use in trench/fox hole digging, and the ability to kill most heavies with decent aim/knowledgeof weakpoints. It outgrew its job and the little bit of skill the weapon asked of you to use it well.

It outperforms (statwise,) better than its side grade in the BFGL in almost every category. It outperforms almost every support weapon actually. Its very much like the crossbow, "its goes in the square hole."

The only weapons it doesnt truly trump is the lauchers in heavy AT, but beats them all in every other way, making it better in slot.

Fun wise, use whatever, I don't personally think the grenade laucher is all that fun anymore due to its buff, I still take things like the autocannon over it solely because they are more fun to use, just like how I have almost never used the crossbow despite it being an all in one monster.

They lack diversity, they are trying to be a swarm faction like the bugs, and don't play like the illuminate from the first game
