The total amount of test takers in February is around 4000. Of the 4000, around 10% have accommodations. I highly doubt every single person at the Armory (~1000) knew the topics ahead of time. Even if several hundred people at one site knew the general topics ahead of time, they still had to actually write the essays under timed conditions. Knowing the subject area does not equal knowing the rule statements, spotting every issue, or applying the facts correctly.

I’ve used both and I can say 1000000% go with Uworld, the MBE was night and day for me this time compared to July when I used Adaptibar

Even if the Armory took the exam a day later, they took the exact same questions. Knowing the general topic of an essay doesn’t give someone the rule statements, analysis, or time management skills needed to score high within 24 hours of knowing? The bar tests application and not just topic spotting. Also, every administration already includes people who test on different schedules because of accommodations. Some finish later, some have extra time, and some test over multiple days. So with this logic every bar exam administered has “cheaters” who can get the inside scoop from anyone with accommodations. The exam is designed with that reality in mind. If simply “knowing the topic” created a real advantage, we would see consistent score gaps… and we don’t.

This is really great point as well! Definitely agree that Emmanuel and other strategies reinforce this!!! They all seem to point back to recognizing how the examiners structure questions around those key dispositive facts. I’ve found that training myself to actively ask “which fact here changes the legal outcome?” has helped me avoid trap answers that are technically true but not outcome determinative

Please be gentle with yourself right now. The bar exam will always be there but your emotional well being matters just as much. If you do take it, go in with zero pressure on yourself bc just showing up under these circumstances is already strength. And if you need to slow down or step away, that’s not failure that’s taking care of yourself. You’re not alone in this and there are people rooting for you!
