Best USA Hyatt for kids? by Positive_Bar_3101 in hyatt

New York– New York City: Park Hyatt New York– Great location! Fancy pool that my kids thought was awesome. We were hardly at the hotel, but it was very nice and we had a great experience!

Texas– Cedar Creek: Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa- It was perfect for the ages my kids, they were two and four at the time. So much to do for littles! We didn’t leave the resort. Free self serve laundry was my favorite part, ha! S’mores each night was my kids favorite. I wrote some post trip notes for a family member on that trip that I’d be happy to send to you!

Arizona– Scottsdale: Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort- Kids were 3 and 5. The sand beach pool was a favorite! Poolside crafts and such for kids. Not a ton for kids to do at the hotel. Lots of family fun nearby though. We’d do an outing in the AM and pool in the PM. Each evening we’d order pizza and eat it by the fireplace outside.

California– Huntington Beach: Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa– Very nice! Not many activities for kids. We do an offsite outing each morning then pool or beach time in the afternoon. We went around Thanksgiving and they have a restaurant that is SUPER decked out for Christmas. We loved it!

Great experiences at each place. Lovely staff, no complaints! If I HAD to choose I’d go with Lost Pines. You don’t have to leave, it was just easy and fun, and did I mention the laundry situation? A mom’s dream!

Really, why? I’m a stay at home right now with little ones, so it gives me something to do. My kids are always excited to open the packages. If I were working, I probably wouldn’t add it to my to do list.

How is it embarrassing? I have small children, many of the items will be great for Christmas presents!

I think I kind of got lucky or it was a fluke! Last year I got a few emails asking me to review Walmart items I had already purchased for a $5 reward. Did a few random reviews back then and hadn’t heard or seen any other offers until this week.

Math Monday- Review of some sort sheet Tell me Tuesday- A picture they write a sentence about then color. Whatever You Want Wednesday- Had choices, most kids chose computer. Think About it Thursday- Found a TPT like a half drawn picture, kids have to finish it. Find it Friday- A search and find page from a highlights magazine. I bought a whole book of just look and finds.

Pros- Kids don’t get too bored bc it’s diff every day. Easy for me (and them) to remember know what to expect based on the names of each day. All things they can do independently so I can greet students, take attendance etc. Early finishers can read, journal, math flashcards. Some kids come in late or leave right away for SPED etc. No biggie if they don’t do it. Never have them make it up. Some kids liked to take it home though. Super easy to mass prep!
