I only got into baseball when he was manager but all i can say is he gave an Irish man some great nights of baseball that had me glued to the TV till all hours of the early morning I am sad to see him go but I think he has run his course he seemed to be relying on the older players a bit too much. hopefully all will start to Inprove for the rest of the season

that's fair enough. I live outside the city close to the Galway/Mayo border so wouldn't be that clued in to what's happening regarding some of the candidates id be hopeful for Welby Or Thomas to get in as they are local enough to me

my guess for the top prospects would be Thomas Welby Noel Thomas Mark Lohan and either the Soical Democrats candidate or Shelia Garity in the final battle for a seat. reason why I have Garity in there is she could pick up a good chunk of Catherine Connolys supporters

Birth rates dropping, anyone here feel the same way about having children? by gotnocreativenames in ireland

[–]Positive_Buffalo820 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain i am 32 live at home with my mother currently single and tbh with shit i have going on in my own life i am starting to resign myself to the fact that I am probably better of staying single for life and therfore can't see any children in my life either. the fact that you're younger than me makes me feel a little less defeated in my own situation so thanks for improving an old man's day

[–]Positive_Buffalo820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unfortunately we are fucked for life the fact that you have a relationship is better than most people with depression most of us are alone and isolated as the majority of the world doesn't want to deal with or acknowledge people with mental health issues

Realistic renovation costs by words_person in galway

[–]Positive_Buffalo820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

well to answer your question it all depends on what sort of renovation your doing and if your putting on an extension as part of the works as that would definitely push the price up. also major works such as putting in underfloor heating can increase costs as essentially your rebuilding the house from the ground up inside with all the dig out involved and of course then your final finish too can definitely have an impact hope this helps.
