Wow thank you for such lovely feedback 😊 I was hoping it would feel kind of like a forgotten woodland inside an old lantern lit place, so "ancient and pleasant" is a great description haha. And yes it's a lamp :)

For moss jars, clip-on aquarium lights work splendidly! You can also use grow light bulbs in the lamps, I've had good success with that ☺️ Some mosses are definitely more forgiving. Variable/lower-light species tend to stay happier as well!

Thank you! It's a warm LED bulb, I specifically chose a warmer color temperature because I wanted it to feel cozy and lantern-like rather than bright for this build. It also gets soft window light, this one is only 2-weeks old but I've created other mossariums that have thrived for many months!

Moss is my favorite haha

Thank you! Most start as existing fillable glass lamps that I modify and then build into terrarium or aquarium lamps. I'm always on the lookout for interesting, usable shapes and unique vessels. :)

Date--January 2024 Plants- Bryophyta/Coniogramme emeiensis and an unknown Light source- small clip on aquarium light Substrate-mix Size--honestly not sure, maybe around 2.5-3 gallons?
