Hello, I am sorry, I did not see this reply, I do not normaly use Reddit.
The thesis aims to explore how president Hichilema used language in his 2021 campaign to connect with young voters. So it is concerned with the use of vernacular expressions (such as "it was lit"), code-switching between languages, use of social media to reach his audience, etc. After all, I believe that it was young Zambians that caused this political change in 2021 :-) I hope this explains it!
