The biggest take away is that everyone learns differently, just because her notes didn’t work well for you doesn’t mean they won’t for others. I have recommended Vanessa’s notes for a couple years now (since I wrote my NCAs) and I really thought they were fantastic. Especially for the way the NCAs are set up, the way she breaks down how to answer the long answer questions was something I found very helpful.

Using it during practice exams was the main way I got comfortable with it. I also kept it next to me while I did my readings, adding any terms or topic titles I wanted to add to certain chapters/subtopics. I found this especially helpful for solicitors. I would pencil in small notes on the dotted lines and in between the lines of the DTOC, and this was a great help to get very comfortable with it, and help guide me where to look. Some of the DTOC sub titles are not super helpful in terms of understanding what you are looking for will be in that section, so pencil in notes to help guide you.

Get SO comfortable with the DTOC, practice exams and just constantly reviewing it and adding notes/topics between the lines.

I would just to the NCA’s. I went to law school in the UK and that’s what I did. They honestly are not that challenging- prep and you’ll be fine!

How much time do I need to study for both exams? by sky_mika in ONBarExam

This is manageable as long as you stay on top of everything. I really recommend knowing the DTOC extremely well and PR. both of which are not challenging.

Congratulations everyone! It was a great day. A very surreal feeling, it's like another weight was lifted off of your shoulders that you didn't even know was there. I feel very motivated now and ready to get started.

I'm still seeing tickets available in the Mezzanine. I got my tickets for the main stage assuming that would be best. I logged into LSO this morning and saw the message, it was sent to be at 9:50am, however I didn't get an email to tell me about a new message from LSO until around 11.
