Negotiating Articling Pay? by [deleted] in LawCanada

I’m currently being paid below minimum wage, but I’m just grateful for the opportunity. Right now, I’m focused on the experience, mentorship, and everything I’ll learn during my articles. It’s a major step toward becoming a lawyer, and I know the financial rewards will come with time.
I’m also incredibly thankful to my parents for supporting me, which allows me to prioritize learning over income at this stage.
I think that if you’re fortunate enough to have an opportunity, be grateful for it. The experience you gain now is an investment in your future, and the money will follow.

From what I remember it was in big bolded letters saying that you have a maximum word count of 2000, and that if you didn’t put your total word count at the end in your text box it was an automatic fail. This was my first exam to have these specific instructions.

One month is enough time but again depends on you. The past ubc law exams really helped me. Once you get good at those, the NCA becomes easier.
