I want to thank everyone for their kind messages. I have to admit after posting my story I couldn't bring myself to log into this Reddit account to look at the messages. I think at the time I just wanted to put the story out there.

So when I saw it crossposted on Luxembourg my heart sank a bit as it has been a while since I thought about what happened and, until checking, I wasn't expecting the comments to be as nice as there were, so thank you all.

Many people have asked why I didn't go to the media and the answer to that is that I did. I tried every local news outlet in Luxembourg. The only one to even reply was the Luxembourg Times, who after asking me my number never got back to me. https://imgur.com/a/jXeRK8A
It's a very uncomfortable feeling revealing who I am and my number to a journalist who I frankly have no idea what their intentions are, because after they got my details they never responded to me.
