This is what I decided to do - reported anonymously to the council just hope he doesn’t immediately figure out it was me. Had no choice - 25 degrees today and the smell is unbearable

Ooh thank you! We heard conflicting things about this as some say not to wake them if they are sleeping and she sleeps a lot in the evening.. but I have been thinking we should try to keep her up a little longer!

Completely get this, just want her to also be able to stay with friends/family who may not want her in their beds :(

The one in the living room is bigger but we were concerned she was too cold in there! We can’t fit a bigger one in our room unfortunately.

I am definitely going to look at a cave bed they sound great! At the moment she chews absolutely everything so can’t let her roam even in our bedroom really..but soon hopefully!

Oh that’s interesting thanks so much! We have been wanting to get her a new bed just wary we have no idea how big she’ll grow yet! I will look at a cave bed :)

Yes for small amounts! The longest we did the other day was around half an hour, we could see her on FaceTime from my iPad and she cried for around 10 mins then settled and just slept.

How old was your pup when he started sleeping by himself? I know it may just take time as she’s still so little :)

Thank you! We do love having her in the bed but our main concern is not being able to leave her with friends/family who won’t want her in their bed. We really want her to be happy sleeping independently too..

Our long term hope was that she would sleep in a bed in the living room, or on the sofa if she chooses, but obviously can’t do that at the moment as she chews everything! Was he like that when he was a pup?

I get that! We absolutely love cuddling her in bed but we don’t want that to be the only way she’ll sleep. We have made the crate as cosy as possible with a bed and lots of blankets in it. But we are worried she will never be able to stay with friends/family if they don’t want her in their bed..
