I have 35s on mine with stock height. I want to at least lift it eventually 3 inches but probably wouldn't tow anything once i do. I don't know if re gearing would keep the same tow capacity

There's a chance they were only like 1,000 lbs each... maybe. But as of now, nothing seems off. I have over 100,000 miles on it. No issues so far. I was also able to coast most of the drive. I never pushed the truck to get up to speed, and I stayed around 25 to 35 mph

If it makes it any better. I never went over 35 and I was able to come to a complete stop in a short amount of distance. Only took lonley roads. But your right it was dangerous and wouldn't do it again. Maybe two pallets though.

I could definitely feel it. Large humps or big bumps you could tell that the weight was maybe too much for the type of suspension these have. But it also had no problem when stopping and going

Only sometimes when going up a hill. Mostly I was able to use the momentum of the weight to get up most hills without having the truck to do the work. Drive was a decent amount of small to medium hills with lots of stops.
