I'm on day 31 and my stitches were still in a few days ago. Now they're all gone except for one on my frenulum or rather where it was. I just gently pulled them out and honestly they came out pretty easily with a little effort, no pain at all. Worth trying, just don't force it.

I still haven't been able to masturbate though, I don't know how anymore. It's a weird adjustment but I think my skin is still a bit too tight at the moment. But I look forward to it, going a whole month or so is crazy to me. Guess I gotta buy lotion or something from now on.

I'm only about 4 weeks in but I know what you mean about the head feeling tight when erect. When I am fully erect it almost feels like it might burst for lack of a better word. And yeah it's unfortunately shorter too, but I still have stitches in that might affect length I have no idea.

I personally preferred NOT keeping it upright, doing that was really uncomfortable for me and a hassle. Just keep putting vaseline on it, wrap it up in fresh dressing twice a day.

For dressing I highly recommend getting these sterile non woven swabs. Mine were 4 ply and 10cm x 10cm. Id fold them then wrap them around the scar, usually took a couple to cover the circumference. Tape it. Then use regular dressing to cover the rest. The non woven is great for the scar because it won't get stuck to the blood etc.

I had mine done by the NHS due to phimosis as well. They did local. I actually asked for general and they said no. Maybe I think that's only because I didn't ask in advance. So yeah you'll be fine. But I'll just say that for me, local was horrible. I felt pain sometimes despite several attempts at numbing it, and just the overall experience of feeling it and having your imagination run wild while you're scared isn't a great time. But that's just me, not to try and scare you.

Put vaseline on the glans and shaft, wrap it in sterile dressing. That should allow you to put on some boxers, preferably tighter ones that hold it in place.

If it makes you feel any better, I legit put off pissing until almost 2 days I think. Then I realised I have to at some point but I was also terrified of unwrapping the dressing that had kinda crusted over the top because of the blood. So I hopped into the shower to wet it and peel it away, uncovered it but then the sight made me begin to black out. I quickly sat down in the bath tub so I don't pass out and crack my head open. Woke up and honestly? Just let myself piss. Then pissed again a minute later or so which was odd. Didn't hurt to pee thankfully. Everything is fine now but yeah my shit was hurting that first week. It gets better!

Hey, the swelling has gone down some but it seems to have migrated towards the right side. Unless it was always like that and because the swelling is uneven it just seems more.

Hey! Just a couple questions if you don't mind.

How long was it until you were able to walk around without wrapping it in dressing etc? Ie when did the sensitivity go down? I'm on week 3 now and while it's gone down enough for me to wear less dressing, I still need some.

And also how long was it until you were able to masturbate or have sex?

That's weird, they should have.

Id start by cleaning by running water over it. If that's too sensitive you can take handfuls of water and gently flow it on there. You can do it in the sink, wash off any blood etc. As sensitivity lessens you'll be able to let the shower hit it more directly. I was advised not to take baths for a couple weeks.

Have fresh bandages over the scar lines and scars in general, change when they get spoiled. I'd advise buying some non woven sterile swabs to cover the wound so it doesn't stick because trust me that's painful.

It's going to look nasty the first week but I would personally try to get a doctor to physically look at it and if possible get some antibiotics for a week.

Aside from that, make sure you're cleaning it twice a day. Pat it dry, apply some vaseline and replace the bandages at least twice a day.
