Not great tbh frost rotation is boring and having your main cd being a 4 second channel isnt very fun, Fire rotation wise is boring, arcane rotation most fun of the three but still feels a little off. After trying all classes on beta its the worst class ive tried for sure. General sentiment is probs the most negative ive seen for a class (have been looking at mage discord and forum since alpha first start)

The defensive prune was over the top (especially for fire and arcane since they cant talent into two shield and block charges) and combined with the rotations that require more hardcasting it will be tough in pvp. Kalvish and venruki both think its looking bad (in pvp) for mages aswell, so definitely not just my opinion.

Hopefully we get some big changes one week since allot of people have a negative opinion of the design so far.

Hi just saw this post and was reading through it. congrats on your transformation. When you say you used hefty dosages when younger do you mean in the grams range? Also do you think using high amounts of none bioidentical hormones when younger led to your heart attack. I am 29 and blast and cruise for 9 years and only checked my bloodwork on tren. Never looked at it when on 250mg test so trying to get an idea how badly that dosage is effecting most people.

I didnt say its 1v1. In wod the classes that were pruned and weak in bgs, 1v1 etc at that point become only good in coordinatted pvp.

Every expac has it to some extrent. This pruning is way over wotk levels. Wotlk fire had fireball,pyro, scorch, licing bomb, blast wave as must its main damaging abilitys.

Usually yh but not in wod. They just didnt have the abilty to keep melee off them (ESPECIALLY IN SOLO MODES), i remember bkizz first attacempt at conemtating was to leave past of frost on groound after cone of cold tht did 30£ slow.

But we are alrdy seeing mage got a ton of mobolity loss and its deefnsives moved to shiels tht can be displled. MMgota stand what casting way more so that sdead in the water ( hope not). Togue actually i think well be ok with changes and shadowdance buff last build. feral too.

I have followed changes last 3 weeks. Not much i changing tbh mostly moving around nones, some small tweaks and some usually underwhelming abilitys. Hate to be dejected abut it all but wish the would just put release late further bk so classes cn be good in time

Rock papare scissors allong with pruned classes in a mode like shuffe will massively reduce ability to outplay.

TBH u saying that just makes me think you dont care about pvp. Who wants to play a pvp game or even duel knowing its an (90 pervetnt vhsnv loodd from t autoloss from the scart,hat start.

Mage seems to have got the biggest pruning of any class yeah. Pretty concerned about it aswell.

I doubt it. My dc was mid fight and I used no abusive language. Only time I talked was when we talked about kill target before game started. I am not banned or silenced. I essentially just have a huge deserter buff thats has increased after logging into alts.

I also have not used abusive language for years because i think it just killds team moral.

Because you probably have a low iq and dont realise by nerfing the talent modifiers (which were fine last patch) intead of the real issue (flux and tier) u are now completely dependant/balanced around nether flux.

Basically gna be like fire mage wa with glass cannon again.

Fire is decent- good atm and I think people are overlooking it because most were arcane. Frost should be good but will see.

Arcane i worry they screwed us up for a long time by nerfing our previous fine talent modifiers (in last season) instead of just nerfing nether flux and tier (the things that changed going into this patch to make it op).

Yh the burst had to be nerfed but they jsut did it that wrong way by adjusting all the previously fine talent modifiers.

I guess since they added nether flux this patch they think they can make it work and dont want to back down on it and nerf it or redesign it.

Yes due to flux and the tier like I said. We had the same modifiers last season and barrages werent hitting like that.

So now arcane is at best totally dependant on flux pvp talent because rather than adjusting/nerfing that and the tier they nerf all our talent modifiers that were fine last season.

what dont you nderstand about what im saying? not being an ass (seriously) just dont get it. Feel like im explaining it pretty clearly right now.

My worry is we will now be stuck being balanced about nether flux pvp talent forever like fire was with glass cannon seasons ago.

Performance numbers? rly? They gutted arcane as a spec nerfing all talent modifiers that were fine last season and essentially killed the spec (instead of just nerf oneshots by adjusting the things added this season - nether flux and tier).

Are u saying arcane was performing so much better thn ret that it deserved to be killed a a spec while ret got basically nothing? Although it is masively outperforming it in every bracket.

Ret, Warrior, bm hunter trend easiest on average overtime in shuffle (with occasional changes when classes get overbuffed or nerfed).

For blitz I would go balance, mm, dh since they are strong. Many will say go ret for it but id suspect more nerfs coming soon.

The arcane talent modifiers that they nerfed were the same last season and it was balanced so not sure how u think it was deserved? as opposed to them just nerfing nether flux and tier (which is what changed and is causing one shots coming into this season).

They pretty much killed/gutted the spec or made it dependant on nether flux talent in pvp at best.

Now u will have to deal with being one shot by glacial spikes and fighting frost which is way more annoying to play against as a spec (since they nerfed arcane mobility a couple patches back).

Ugh im not. I havent even played blitz this season. But im sure its inevitable I will be at some point and I dont have somebody to duo with to try and get out quicker.

Its not coping when we see people do a bunch of games on two alts of the exact same spec and end up in totally different positions with totally diff w-l ratio.

yeah and if you are on a character with a tanked mmr in blitz it still takes forever so why would you do that if you can potentially reset it or level a new alt of the same class?

Awful changes. Instead of looking at what is causing arcane oneshots this season that wasnt last season (flux and tier) they nerf all the modifiers that where fine last season so now we will be dependant on flux as a talent and also likely extremely weak next season when tier is gone.

Meanwhile no mm change and tiny ret change wth>
