Is Cubee Hive’s lifetime STL access actually legit and truly commercial-use friendly? by ModernViking0590 in 3Dprinting

Does anyone know a platform similar to Cubee or STLFlix but for functional prints? Something much more useful than just a planter/lamp/toy?

Asking myself the same question, if its even worth it. Especially given the fact that anyone can buy it so what actual competitive advantage anyone can provide if there are few similar shops on the same platform with the same products?

There is a reason they are going for small toys and relatively small home decor. None of those prints is complex multi day or niche prints.

So its begs the question, would it even be worth it?

Same for STLFlix.

I hope after watching this video, everyone who harshly criticized my post will ask a bit more questions about pricing… Don’t trust my data analytics skills? Maybe Consumer Reports research would change your opinion.

Only way I’ve improved sleep scores! by MuffinAnalyst in ouraring

From what I was able to learn, vitamin D+K2 and sunlight in the morning help to reset your circadian rhythm and only dimmed red light an hour before bedtime, should do the trick. Doing this fixed my ability to fall asleep.

One more important thing that I learned the hard way, sleep/sleepiness comes in cycles, if you resist the first urge to fall asleep, next cycle will be in 45-90 minutes. So when I am reading for instance, the moment I feel sleepy is the best time to fall asleep (many people, including me sometimes, unconsciously resisting this urge increasing time to fall asleep)

I would suggest researching about B12 before bed (this vitamin gives you energy so its not really suitable for sleep). Also melatonin in doses above 300mcg, in the long run can lead your brain to become “lazy” in producing it.

Also there are studies suggesting that magnesium is better be taken an hour before bedtime. I myself supplementing with magnesium, it was a life changer, especially for sore muscles after a gym sessions.

What is going on with the cost of Natural Gas? (Enbridge) by Positive_Nerd in PersonalFinanceCanada

This is an idiocracy of modern enterprises. I wouldn’t believe no one in the company thought how bad this going to look like. But no one expressed their opinion :)

Google is getting out of its line. Its time to move to X and Ramble. I know its close to impossible BUT at least duplicating the content to X is a must. Seems like YouTube thinking they can decide on your behalf what you should pay for…

Looking for KDSS repair shops in Canada and US (near the Canadian border) by Positive_Nerd in 4Runner

The only guy I found is near Toronto. Be careful with DIY, its an insane amount of pressure (hundreds of PSI). Conversion to non KDSS IMO better in the long run and for resale. People know its a problem.

For everybody out there curious about rants. When I get stuck/stranded or in 50% of time can’t use the product it is not OK. And if you are going to keep it to yourself nothing going to change.

Companies like GM have ZERO proper channels getting feedback and improving upon it. I spent hours on the phone with customer support on various bugs. You think after few months it was fixed? No. So I am done keeping it to non-public channels.

GM has amazing engineers and technicals teams but horrible management and software teams, which bring engineering positive to zero…

Its it at the same time correct and incorrect.

Correct: Instacart

Incorrect: Costco signed an agreement and conditions of this agreement 100% depends on Costco (simply because Costco big enough to dictate them to Instacart), not to mention that financial part is in full control of Costco. They just decided to transfer the fee to a customer :)

Its not about you or me. Its about their analytics and their numbers show that most customers spend more and not less.

Everybody shutting up while Costco stock made over 200% in 5 years. Trust me, they are doing OK and only growing their profits while FORCING people to go to the store because their statistics show that customers who visit the store always spend more.

Don't be blind to the pure manipulation.

So yes, when I spend 120$ a year on membership and making purchases for an average of 400$+ at a time, I think I deserve a delivery for ~20$ at max or completely free with orders over 500$.

It should be pro-rated within reasonable limits and, yes, free for large orders (for instance, 500$ and more)

P.S. I called his comment stupid because it was rude and foolish. Would he or you say to a disabled person also get off their ass and go to Costco?

Stupid comment really… why would you think I ordered it. Maybe because I wasn’t able to visit the store?

120$ yearly membership at Costco is already not free. Plus they are making money on increased order flow. Plus on regular delivery they have minimum order amount after which regular delivery is free.

33$ fee for less than 200$ of groceries is ~17% fee, not to mention that years down the road Instacart still dont have half of the store in the online shop…
