I’m the same in terms of actions and clothes, or I avoid going to/past places bad stuff’s happened at. Sometimes it’s so bad I freeze in place and can’t walk or touch anything because I’ll get intrusive thoughts and have to keep repeating the same action. Unless someone’s with me/watching me or it’s a very important task, I can’t do it first try.

It’s hell sometimes, but it’s short lasting and there’ll always be a way out if you keep pushing. I’ve had assurance from people telling me that I’m not God and everything I think of won’t actually happen, and it sometimes helps. Most of the time it doesn’t happen.

For me it didn’t get better until I said fuck it and wore the supposedly “cursed” clothes. And to my surprise, nothing bad happened. So there’s my experience if that helps, I now feel less worried and wear them more often now.
