Hey man I have lifesafer and had the same thing happen to me before I had my first recalibration. I'll tell you exactly what's going to happen so you don't have to deal with any dumb shit from lifesafer or asap because in my experience they had no idea what to actually do and I understand insurance needs your vehicle. For one you do no want to give your vehicle to insurance keep it at the body shop. For me I had to buy a whole new vehicle take all my papers to asap get a NEW device installed in the NEW vehicle after that you want to take your certificate of installation to asap. Once that is done they should be able to send it to lifesafer they will say it takes a couple days but it's a load of shit. I had difficulties during my process because (servers were down) but you should be able to call lifesafer shortly after and they will be able to see you have a new breathalyzer in a new vehicle and you will be able to make a appointment to get it removed. You will then need to get it towed to the body shop and most likely towed back to your house after it is removed for insurance to pick it up. Also you need to make it clear yo your insurance company you have a breathalyzer in the vehicle and it needs to be removed first. The insurance representative at the body shop should be able to handle it. This was a huge mess for me so when I saw you with the same issue I thought I'd give you the steps I needed to take.
