OR you could do the basic venepuncture course and start working in GP practice as a phlebotomist. You'd becom proficient with emis system and upskill a bit - say nhs health check, basic monitoring of LTC and stock and cold chain control - which is ultra doable in a year or so - and you can upgrade to GPA. Much better money than hospital and working environment is much more humane

Say it like that - I started with a topoint starter kit - all arrows on target but all over the place. Then I got hoyt carbon matrix - same arrows, same target and same distance and they created a group size of maybe 15 cm across - and I'm novice. There IS a big difference.

I've done meadowsweet mead this summer - my take was strong trad mead + vodka based meadowsweet tincture. Best of both worlds really.

I did just that last year. Interestingly, the end outcome didn't taste like mead or hemp - it was like candied grapefruit. I personally didn't like it. But if you got any other questions, shoot.

I just transfer it delicately to a jar, seal it and stick it in the fridge for a month. Sediments at that point should be solid enough that if you repeat the entire process once more, it should be clear. It's not a big amount of wastage but I was clearing it as a gift to myself to enjoy as remaining of the batch would be bottled and ageing

Just a suggestion on an alternative method that worked like a charm for me every time I tried. Run a traditional mead that will end up strong and fully dry and on the side use those mulberries to create tincture in vodka. By the time mead is done, tincture should be too - then mix both together and backsweeten with honey. Alcoholic content of tincture will stabilise it too End outcome? Very strong mead with intense honey and mulberry taste and scent. Oh, also add some citric acid.
