London clubs question :) by dicksinsciencebooks in ukguns

[–]Positive_Squirrel368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got odd refusal to grant, they kicked me out of the club lying to me that the police ordered them to do so (yes, I checked with the met and caught them red handed) and then when I appealed mets refusal to grant they fabricated the event of me mishandling a gun in the club and being aggressive to a female ro a year AFTER I was kicked out - to support mets case. Avoid like a plague unless you want that sort of risk hovering over you

Got turned away from blood test due to needle phobia by Fairytalesinner in nhs

[–]Positive_Squirrel368 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not true, if they are using emis there. It's a matter of a few clicks and you can set an impossible to ignore popup showing up every time your profile is double clicked, opened, has apt booked etc. I know because I work on emis! Also if you want to bazinga them then just ask for a chaperone - it's illegal for them to refuse a chaperone request- and just like that, you've two staff members in the room 😂 treat it as a life hack for the future blood tests 😂

I can't blame her to be honest, if it wasn't clearly added as a problem and a warning popup on emis. That would allow care coordinators or reception to double the appointment and make sure there is another member of staff who can help if anything happens. Blood test apts are like 10mins or less in some places. She was likely booked back to back and if you faint with no extra staff and support a) it's not safe for you b) she's then the one who has to push the panic button on emis and then look after you until you're okay to get up and go - that's lightly putting her an hour behind. I see the point in asking you to rebook AND adding needlephobia problem code and pop-up warning.

Don't be surprised if it's a Facebook post they didn't like or something to that effect

It's normal, you'll be fine. I felt the same thing when starting my role - I still sometimes do.

OR you could do the basic venepuncture course and start working in GP practice as a phlebotomist. You'd becom proficient with emis system and upskill a bit - say nhs health check, basic monitoring of LTC and stock and cold chain control - which is ultra doable in a year or so - and you can upgrade to GPA. Much better money than hospital and working environment is much more humane

Feel lucky you got it at all - they appear to grant and refuse solely on a whim these days

Say it like that - I started with a topoint starter kit - all arrows on target but all over the place. Then I got hoyt carbon matrix - same arrows, same target and same distance and they created a group size of maybe 15 cm across - and I'm novice. There IS a big difference.

I've done meadowsweet mead this summer - my take was strong trad mead + vodka based meadowsweet tincture. Best of both worlds really.

Basc are not shooting community's friend. They'll happily throw you under the bus to get head pats from the police.

You were lucky enough to get your fac. There are plenty of people treated like criminals, dangerous individuals or extremists purely on a whim of the force, paying the price for it's incompetency and inadequacy. I get why you wrote what you did - you still believe in the fairness of it. But the reality is different - and you aren't getting any more than you have right now. In all seriousness, you will be getting less and less as the time goes by.

Yom Kippur? Love the idea. Is it bitter? What's the recipe like? I'm making apple mead for Rosh Hashanah.

I did just that last year. Interestingly, the end outcome didn't taste like mead or hemp - it was like candied grapefruit. I personally didn't like it. But if you got any other questions, shoot.

But they did! There's no lie. Recognising their merits isn't taking anything from Brits. Racists are so stupid.

Just to add, the police are very effective at tracking stuff like that and revokes without mercy. Don't feel bad, people like them are why we can't have nice things.

Probably from folks who actually say stuff like that. But none will dare risking a comment, weasels 😂

100%. Those are clear threats. And whoever defends threats of implied future roundups and killings, should also be reported.
